Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Patrick Trevor Grant of Grant, 5th Baron Strathspey, (18 March 1912 – 27 January 1992) was a British peer, land agent and Chief of Clan Grant. Born in New Zealand of Scottish descent, he was the only son of Trevor Ogilvie-Grant, 4th Baron Strathspey and his wife Alice Louisa Hardy-Johnston.
Educated at Stowe and Wye College, he trained as a land agent and surveyor. Upon the death of his father in 1948, he succeeded to the Barony of Strathspey, the Colquhoun baronetcy of Luss and as the 32nd Chief of Clan Grant. He inherited no estate, however, as his uncle—the 11th Earl of Seafield (and 3rd Baron Strathspey) who died during World War I—was succeeded in the Seafield Earldom and estates by his only daughter.
During World War II he enlisted with the land branch of the War Department and ultimately gained the rank of honorary Lieutenant colonel. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Strathspey married, firstly, (in 1939; marriage dissolved 1951) Alice Bowe, daughter of Dr. Francis Bowe; and, secondly, (in 1951) Olivia Amy Grant, daughter of Wallace Henry Grant. By his first marriage he was the father of James Patrick Trevor Grant, 6th Baron Strathspey (1943–2023); by his second he was the father of Michael Patrick Francis Grant, 7th Baron Strathspey (born 1953), who is the current Lord Strathspey and Clan chief.
Strathspey was the author of A History of Clan Grant, a simplified account of the clan history which also details the history of the Ogilvie-Grant family. He died in 1992 at his residence in Sussex and was succeeded by his eldest son James.
