Phillip Ensler is an American politician who has served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives since 2022. He represents Alabama's 74th House district. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Electoral history
He was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Alabama House of Representatives election against Republican opponent Charlotte Meadows. He assumed office the next day on November 9, 2022.
Biography
Ensler earned a Juris Doctor degree from Yeshiva University in 2017. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from George Washington University in 2012. He has taught social studies at Lee High School. Ensler is Jewish. He is the executive director of the Jewish Federation of Central Alabama and used to be an aide to Steven Reed.
