Ploudaniel (French pronunciation: [pludanjɛl]; Breton: Plouzeniel) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France.

=Ploudaniel has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). The average annual temperature in Ploudaniel is 11.4 °C (52.5 °F). The average annual rainfall is 1,164.1 mm (45.83 in) with December as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 16.9 °C (62.4 °F), and lowest in January, at around 6.7 °C (44.1 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Ploudaniel was 39.6 °C (103.3 °F) on 18 July 2022; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −10.4 °C (13.3 °F) on 1 January 1997.
Population
Inhabitants of Ploudaniel are called in French Ploudaniélois.
Breton language
The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on 2 February 2007.
