Saeed Yaqubian سعید یعقوبیان (born December 11, 1979 in Tabriz) is an Iranian Setar player and musician based in Tehran. His works in the field of musical research and criticism have been published in journals such as Mahoor Institute of Culture and Arts, honar-e musighi, Bookcity, and Zangar as well as some Iranian online journals including Noise and Harmonytalk. He is also the founder, editor-in-chief, and writer of the website "Irantrumpet" (The Iranian Trumpet House).
Education
He was trained in setar and performance by Babak Rahati, Masoud Shaari, and Behrooz Hemmati, and studied solfege and harmony with Nima Gorran.
His academic education is Master of Arts in Economic Development and Planning, Allameh Tabataba'i University
