Salisbury Hockey Club runs squads and training for a wide range of abilities and ages across the men’s and women’s senior sections weekly, from September to April. The men's section currently manages six squads: the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th XIs, as well as the Striders and Strollers squads for veteran players, typically aged 40 and above. All teams play competitive games on Saturdays. The women’s section runs five regional league squads: the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th XIs, along with the 6th XI for newer junior players and adults who may be new or returning to the game or looking to develop their skills further. League matches are played on Saturdays, and inter-club friendlies are arranged on Sundays. Mixed hockey is played from May to July as part of the club's summer league. Training occurs throughout the year.
