    • Sap-en-Auge (French pronunciation: [sap ɑ̃.n‿oʒ], literally Sap in Auge) is a commune in the department of Orne, northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of Orville and Le Sap (the seat). Its seat, Le Sap, is classed as a Petites Cités de Caractère.


      Geography


      The commune along with another 11 communes shares part of a 1,400 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Haute Vallée de la Touques et affluents.

      Ecomusée du Grand Jardin is a museum dedicated to the making of cider and calvados.
