SNACKTIME are an American soul, funk, alternative band from Philadelphia, PA. The band was founded during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in August 2020 when the group began performing free shows in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square.
Career
Prior to SNACKTIME taking off, members of the band boasted an impressive resume of live and studio collaborations including The Stylistics, Mary J. Blige, Village People and Solange Knowles just to name a few. Many are also involved with the collective Omar's Hat, which runs regular Jam Sessions across the city celebrating Philadelphia's great musical legacy.
After the pandemic, the group started moving into more traditional venues such as Philadelphia's Brooklyn Bowl and Theatre of Living Arts. The band has curated neighborhood festivals and food events with chefs including Michael Solomonov - Zahav, Marc Vetri, Michael Ferreri, and Jose Garces
SNACKTIME has performed during Philadelphia 76ers halftime shows and also for Phillies and Philadelphia Union events.
SNACKTIME has been featured at major music festivals such as Life Is Beautiful, Sea.Hear.Now, Sound on Sound Fest, Firefly, Peach Fest, Xponential Festival, and Adult Swim Festival. SNACKTIME performed a 6-hour set at Eric Andre's 40th Birthday Party at Knockdown Center. SNACKTIME is opening for Portugal. The Man on a U.S. tour.
SNACKTIME recently finished tracking their studio debut, recorded and produced by Grammy -nominated producer Will Yip (Lauryn Hill, Turnstile, Bartees Strange). A 12” single was released on February 1, 2024.

Snacktime! is a children's-themed studio album by Canadian band Barenaked Ladies released on 6 May 2008 by Desperation Records. A companion book was written with artwork by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Hearn, who also contributed artwork for the album. It is the final Barenaked Ladies album to include Steven Page, who departed the band on 25 February 2009. He was subsequently quoted, saying of the album, "[i]t was a lot of fun to do, but it wasn't my idea. I was along for the ride."
Snacktime! reached number 10 on the Canadian charts and peaked at No. 61 on the Billboard 200. It also won a 2009 Juno Award for the Children's Album of the Year.

The first song in the Canadian Snacktime Trilogy, entitled "Snacktime", features numerous guest callers stating their favourite snack. Callers consist of either celebrities or children of the band. Several celebrities and children with their respective snacks of choice are listed below, in order of appearance.
The trilogy concept is influenced by the song "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" (1966) by Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot.
