Sòókò Deji Ajomald-Mcword (born July 29, 1984) is a Nigerian figure in sports, tourism, and diplomacy, known for founding the African Sports Tourism Week and serving as Secretary-General of the World Sports Tourism Council. Born in Lagos, he attended schools in Lagos and Abeokuta. He has worked in writing and public relations and developed an interest in golf, organizing tournaments and publishing related works. Ajomale-McWord leads Diplomacy Publishing & Events and has been involved with international organizations.
Recognitions
Ajomale-McWord has received recognition for his contributions to sports tourism and hospitality. In 2021, he was awarded a Special Recognition Award for Sports Tourism by the Nigeria Tourism Awards and was named among the "Top 30 Tourism & Hospitality Influencers in Africa" by Pyne Awards. In 2022, he was included in the "Most Influential People of African Descent" list and recognized as one of the "100 Most Powerful People in African Hospitality" by the International Hospitality Institute.
