    • Southern Soccer Academy Swarm is a soccer club based in Marietta, Georgia, 20 miles NW of Atlanta. The club offers youth programs for boys and girls ages 3 through 19 in local recreational leagues, and in state, regional, and national-level elite competitive leagues. In addition, the club has male and female U-20 teams competing in the USL Academy League and U-23 teams competing in the South Central Divisions of the Men's USL League Two and the Women's USL W League Southern Conferences.
      As of May 2024, SSA Swarm serves as the flagship club of a partnership between Intrepid Sports and Brentford FC of the English Premier League.
      Prior to the 'Swarm FC' era, Southern Soccer Academy existed as the 2012 merger of a number of pre-existing soccer clubs in the metro Atlanta area. As of May 2024, the club's membership exceeds 8,000 players on 600+ teams making it one of the largest youth soccer clubs in the Southeastern US.
      SSA has programs located in Bartow (Cartersville), Cobb (Austell, Kennesaw, Marietta, Powder Springs), Coweta (Newnan, Sharpsburg), Fulton (Buckhead), and Paulding (Dallas) counties in the greater Atlanta area, as well as programs in the Brunswick/Jekyll Island area of Southeast Georgia.
      As a not-for-profit community sports organization, SSA has partnerships with multiple City and County Parks and Rec Departments across their locations to serve as the official provider of soccer programs to local residents.
      SSA youth competitive teams participate in MLS Next, Girls Academy League, NAL, DPL, NPL, EDP, and SCCL leagues.
