SV Curslack-Neuengamme is a sports club from the Hamburg districts of Curslack and Neuengamme in the Bergedorf district. The first football team plays in the Landesliga Hansa. In addition to football, the club also offers Badminton, Jujitsu, Table tennis and Gymnastics.
History
The club first came to attention in the 1963/64 season when the first team played in the then fourth-class "Verbandsliga", but was relegated as the bottom team. It was not until 1970 that the team was able to establish itself in the second-highest Hamburg league and three years later reached the highest Hamburg league. The highlight of the promotion season was a 0:1 defeat against ASV Bergedorf 85 in front of 4500 spectators. In the 1974/75 season, SV finished third in the table behind VfL Pinneberg and Altona 93.
After the greatest success in the club's history, the team fell back into mediocrity and was relegated from the now "Verbandsliga" called Hamburg Oberhaus in 1979. After the relegation to the Bezirksliga in 1984, the club became a "yo-yo club". In the 1986/87 season, they returned to the Landesliga for one year. Between 1988 and 1992, the club formed a joint team with the TSV Kirchwerder called FSG Vierlande, which was eventually prohibited by the Hamburger Fußball-Verband.
In the following years, the club fluctuated between Bezirksliga and Kreisliga, before returning to the Hamburg Oberhaus in 2006. There, in the 2010/11 season, they finished third behind the second team of FC St. Pauli and TSV Buchholz 08. Three years later, the SV even became vice-champion behind TuS Dassendorf. In 2023, the team was relegated to the Landesliga Hansa.
