The Enlightenment of the Greengage Tree (Persian: اشراق درخت گوجه سبز) is a novel written by Shokoofeh Azar, an Iranian writer living in Australia. This novel in the style of magical realism is the narrative of a thirteen-year-old girl named Bahar from an Iranian family of five and residents of the village of Razan after the Iranian Revolution.
Reception
According to Book Marks, the book received "positive" reviews based on six critic reviews with two being "rave" and two being "positive" and two being "mixed".
