The Silent Planet is a Canadian science fiction film, directed by Jeffrey St. Jules and released in 2024. The film stars Elias Koteas as Theodore, a man who has long been isolated as the sole prisoner in a penal colony on an otherwise uninhabited planet, whose life is disrupted when Niyya (Briana Middleton) is exiled to the planet to join him.
The film was shot in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2023.
It premiered at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival, where it was first runner-up for the Audience Award for Best Canadian Feature.
