Uke is a Nigerian community in Karu LGA in Nasarawa State. It is about 334 km (208 mi) south of Abuja, the country's capital city.
It holds the karshi development area and service as the secretariat for the karshi development area.
Surrounding Communities: Uke is sorrounded by some of the ancient villages and community which includes Karshi, Gidan Gimba, Tudun Wada, Gidan Kura, And Auta Balefi.
The traditional head is elected on the demise of the previous traditional leader.
The current traditional ruler is Alh.(Dr.) Hassan Ahmad Abdullahi Yankanaje.
