Wivenhoe Pocket is a rural locality in the Somerset Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, Wivenhoe Pocket had a population of 417 people.
History
Wivenhoe Pocket was named after an early pastoral run managed by Edmund Blucher Uhr, who named it after the town of Wivenhoe in Essex, England.
In 1877, 5,500 acres (2,200 ha) were resumed from the Wivenhoe pastoral run and offered for selection on 19 April 1877.

In the 2016 census, Wivenhoe Pocket had a population of 440 people.
In the 2021 census, Wivenhoe Pocket had a population of 417 people.
