Zitro International S.A.R.L is a Luxembourg-based company that manufactures slot machines used by gambling venues.
History
Zitro was founded in 2007 by Johnny Ortiz. The Video Bingo product line has been in operation since Zitro's inception.
In 2016, Zitro introduced its first Video Slot games, a customized system for BET bingo halls, and its attachment to the online market through the Zitro Digital division.
In November 2022, Zitro's "Wheel of Legends" won "Slot Machine of the Year" at the BEGE Awards. In May 2022, Johnny Ortiz won the "Business Man of the Year" Award by AZAR Magazine. In October 2021, AGEM honors Sebastián Salat with Jens Halle Memorial Award.
Sebastian Salat was honored with the Intelligence Hot 50 Award in 2024 for his outstanding contributions to the gaming industry.
Zitro was awarded the "Top Performing Game - LATAM" title for Epic Kingdom at the EKG Slot Awards Show 2023 hosted by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming.
In 2024, “Altius Glare” won the “Best Slot Machine” category at the European Casino Awards.
The company has a Technology Campus in Barcelona and Bangalore.
