The 1895 Maryland comptroller election was held on 5 November 1895 in order to elect the comptroller of Maryland. Republican nominee Robert Patterson Graham defeated Democratic nominee and incumbent comptroller Marion deKalb Smith, Prohibition nominee John D. Nicodemus and Independent candidate Samuel H. Gibson.
General election
On election day, 5 November 1895, Republican nominee Robert Patterson Graham won the election by a margin of 15,637 votes against his foremost opponent Democratic nominee Marion deKalb Smith, thereby gaining Republican control over the office of comptroller. Graham was sworn in as the 16th comptroller of Maryland on 8 January 1896.
