2channel (2ちゃんねるcode: ja is deprecated ) adalah situs sistem papan buletin terbesar di Jepang. Nama situs ini disingkat sebagai 2ch atau nichan (にちゃんcode: ja is deprecated ).
Situs ini merupakan kumpulan dari sejumlah sistem papan buletin dari peladen yang berbeda-berbeda. Pendiri 2channel bernama Hiroyuki Nishimura alias Hiroyuki yang mendirikan situs ini di Arkansas pada bulan Mei 1999. Statusnya masih mahasiswa ketika meluncurkan situs ini dari sebuah apartemen universitas di Conway, Arkansas di kampus Universitas Central Arkansas. Penghasilan situs ini berasal dari iklan. Pada Januari 2009, Packet Monster, Inc. yang berbasis di Singapura membeli hak operasional 2channel dari Nishimura dengan harga yang tidak umumkan.
Pengguna menulis posting secara anonim, namun semua alamat IP dicatat. Pengguna tidak perlu mengungkap identitas diri, posting tidak disensor dan tidak disaring. Pengguna situs ini yang disebut 2channera (2ちゃんねらーcode: ja is deprecated ), berjumlah antara 12 juta hingga 16 juta.
Topik pembicaraan dibagi menjadi sekitar 50 kategori, mulai dari gempa bumi, bisnis, sains, hingga berita mutakhir dari dunia politik dan artis. Setiap kategori memiliki lusinan topik, masing-masing dapat memiliki ratusan thread. Satu thread dibatasi pada 1.000 posting. Sebelum mencapai 1.000 posting, salah seorang dari pengguna di thread tersebut dapat mencalonkan diri untuk membuat thread baru agar pembicaraan dapat dilanjutkan.
