Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize N.V., lebih dikenal sebagai Ahold Delhaize, adalah sebuah perusahaan ritel Belanda-Belgia yang mengoperasikan bisnis supermarket dan e-commerce. Sebanyak 21 merek lokal milik perusahaan ini mempekerjakan 375.000 orang di 6.500 gerai yang tersebar di 11 negara. Gerai perusahaan ini berbentuk supermarket, toko serba ada, hipermarket, toko grosir daring, toko non-makanan daring, apotek, hingga toko minuman keras.
Kantor pusat Ahold Delhaize berada di Zaandam, Belanda. Merek-merek milik perusahaan ini eksis di Belanda, Belgia, Republik Ceko, Yunani, Luxembourg, Romania, Serbia, dan Amerika Serikat. Perusahaan ini juga mengadakan joint venture di Indonesia dan Portugal.
Saham Ahold Delhaize diperdagangkan di Euronext Amsterdam dan Brussels (simbol: AD). Mantan CEO Ahold, Dick Boer ditunjuk menjadi CEO Ahold Delhaize hingga ia pensiun pada tahun 2018, sementara Frans Muller, mantan CEO Delhaize Group kemudian menjadi CEO Ahold Delhaize, setelah sebelumnya menjadi deputi CEO, Direktur Integrasi, dan Plt. Direktur Operasi Delhaize America.




Sejarah


Ahold Delhaize dibentuk pada bulan Juli 2016 melalui penggabungan Ahold dan Delhaize Group. Delhaize Group memulai sejarahnya pada tahun 1867, saat Delhaize Bersaudara membuka sebuah toko grosir di Harleroi, Belgia. Sementara Ahold memulai sejarahnya pada tahun 1887, saat Albert Heijn membuka sebuah toko di Oostzaan, Belanda.
Pada tahun 2018, perusahaan ini mengalami pertumbuhan pesat di Amerika Serikat (Food Lion), Belanda, serta di sektor daring. Sementara pertumbuhan di Belgia tidak terlalu besar.
