    AirPods adalah sepasang penyuara telinga tanpa kabel salah satu produk dari Apple, bentuknya yang berwarna putih sangat mirip dengan penyuara telinga standar iPhone yang selama ini dikenal dengan sebutan EarPods bedanya AirPods tidak memakai kabel. ia tersambung dengan perangkat iPhone 7 dan iPhone 7 plus melalui koneksi bluetooth. AirPods dirancang untuk bekerja optimal saat dipasangkan dengan duo iPhone baru yang memiliki chip wireless (tanpa kabel) W1 tersebut.
    Di dalam AirPods terdapat sensor optik dan akselerometer yang bisa mendeteksi saat terpasang di telinga pengguna. Jadi, AirPods hanya akan memutar musik saat pengguna siap mendengarkan. AirPods bisa digunakan dengan perangkat non Apple yang memiliki koneksi bluetooth tapi fitur-fitur khususnya hanya akan muncul saat dia dipasangkan dengan perangkat Apple berbasis iOS 10, watch OS3 atau macOS Sierra. AirPods memiliki baterai yang bertahan empat hingga lima jam.
    Apple berencana menjual AirPods seharga sekitar 159 dollar AS atau sekitar Rp 2,1 juta rupiah secara online atau melalui toko Apple. Perusahaan besutan Steve Jobs itu kemudian resmi memasarkan AirPods pada 13 Desember.

    Apple mengumumkan AirPods generasi pertama pada tanggal 7 September 2016, dalam Acara Khusus Apple bersamaan dengan iPhone 7 dan Apple Watch Series 2. Awalnya, Apple berencana untuk merilis AirPods pada akhir Oktober, tetapi tanggal rilisnya ditunda. Pada tanggal 13 Desember 2016, Apple mulai menerima pesanan online untuk AirPods. Mereka tersedia di Apple Store, Penjual Resmi Apple, dan beberapa operator telekomunikasi pada tanggal 20 Desember 2016.

    Apple mengumumkan AirPods generasi kedua pada tanggal 20 Maret 2019. Desainnya sama dengan generasi pertama, tetapi memiliki fitur-fitur terbaru. AirPods generasi kedua dilengkapi dengan prosesor H1 yang mendukung perintah "Hey Siri" tanpa menggunakan tangan, koneksi Bluetooth 5. Apple juga menyatakan adanya peningkatan waktu bicara sebesar 50% dan waktu koneksi perangkat yang lebih cepat. Fitur "Announce Messages with Siri" ditambahkan pada iOS 13.2, yang memungkinkan pengguna mendikte pesan teks kepada Siri.
    AirPods generasi kedua dapat dibeli dengan kasing pengisian daya yang sama dengan generasi pertama, atau dengan tambahan harga yang dikemas dengan Kasing Pengisian Daya Nirkabel, yang dapat digunakan dengan pengisi daya Qi. Kasing Pengisian Daya Nirkabel dapat dibeli secara terpisah dan kompatibel dengan AirPods generasi pertama. Ia memindahkan LED indikator pengisian ke bagian luar kasing. It seems "AirPods Stereo" isn't doing anything other than showing up in the Playback list. Solution for me: Change the "AirPods Hands-Free AG Audio" to Default.

If I reset and only pair airpods to PC it works fine, but once i pair to the iphone and swap back to Teams ( or in fact any other things that play sound/mic ) it doesn't work. The Airpods Gen 3 has not issues with swapping devices.

Feb 20, 2023 · My PC (Windows 11) says airpods connected but sound still comes out of the PC. I do have the airpods selected in sound settings. When I test the airpods, I do hear the beep. The airpods work fine on my phone. I've tried deleting and re-pairing the airpods and restarting PC many times. My drivers and Windows are up to date.
