Alania adalah sebuah kerajaan suku Alan (Proto-Ossetia) yang berdiri pada Abad Pertengahan di kawasan Kaukasus Utara (kurang lebih di wilayah Sirkasia dan Osetia Utara-Alania pada masa modern). Kerajaan ini dibentuk setelah berhasil memisahkan diri dari Kekhaganan Khazar pada akhir abad ke-9. Ibu kota kerajaan ini terletak di Maghas. Kerajaan ini mengendalikan jalur dagang yang melewati Celah Darial.
Kerajaan Alania mencapai puncak kejayaannya pada abad ke-11 di bawah kepemimpinan Raja Dorgolel. Namun, kerajaan ini hancur akibat serangan Mongol pada tahun 1238–39.
