AMD-65 GudangMovies21 Rebahinxxi LK21

AMD-65 (bahasa Hungaria: Automata Módosított Deszant[fegyver] 1965; terjemahan harfiah bahasa Indonesia: senapan serbu otomatis modifikasi) adalah senapan serbu buatan Hungaria yang diperuntukan untuk personel militer infantri dan terjun payung. Senapan ini menggunakan basis AKM dengan popor lipat samping. Laras dengan panjang 12,6 inci (yang termasuk pendek dikelasnya) digunakan untuk melontarkan peluru kaliber 7,62 × 39 mm. Mekanismenya tidak membutuhkan lorong gas pada ujung laras tetapi menggunakan rem laras desain khusus.
AK-63 dalam jumlah yang besar telah menggantikan peran AMD-65 dan AKM-63 dalam militer Hungaria. Hal ini karena AK-63 lebih murah dalam ongkos pembuatannya.

Adalah varian lain dari AKM dengan popor tetap dan laras standar, bidikan besi pada bagian laras juga dalam posisi yang tidak berubah dari AKM. Persamaan dengan AMD-65 adalah pada bagian pegangan depan dan belakang dan handguard yang terbuat dari bahan metal.

The AMD handguard retainer has two retainer pins in it to hold the thin sheetmetal guard in place. A washer can be cut and welded into the handguard to stabiklize it in a nomn AMD retainer.

I always believed that they were different model numbers because of slight differences in some of the parts but perhaps it is as was said. That wooden grips were used to finish out some of the batches of guns.

Sep 8, 2006 · First there is a big difference between the AMD 65 and other AK 47's. The barrel length is only 12.5" which effects many other parts of the gun and legalities. The piston is shorter. If you look right you will see an average Hungarian AK47 piston on top. The Hungarian AMD piston is in the middle and the USA piston on bottom.
