    • Aragorn II adalah salah satu tokoh dalam dunia fiksi buku The Lord of the Rings karya J. R. R. Tolkien. Ia dilahirkan pada 1 Maret 2931 dalam Third Age, anak dari Arathorn II dan istrinya Gilraen. Ia bertemu Gandalf the Grey pada 2956, dan mereka menjadi teman baik. Ketika Sauron dikalahkan pada 3019, Aragorn menjadi King Elessar (bahasa Quenya, diterjemahkan sebagai Elfstone), nama yang diberikan padanya oleh Galadriel (dalam bahasa Sindarin menjadi Edhelharn). 17 Jan 2004 · I imagine Aragorn's an excellent archer, yet he didn't use his bow in the books or the movies, IIRC, except in the FOTR movie when they were trying to escape from Moria. We all know he's extremely dangerous with a sword , and is very strong and with exceptional stamina.

If you notice on a map, beyond Amon Sul there's a stretch of open country, crossing this would be unsafe without having some information on what/who's moving around, and they didn't have the supplies to make a long detour
