    Argentia adalah sebuah pelabuhan komersial dan taman industri yang terletak di Kota Placentia, Newfoundland dan Labrador di Kanada. Tempat ini terletak di pantai barat daya Semenanjung Avalon dan yang merupakan tanjung berbentuk segitiga yang kesebelah utara ke Teluk Placentia menciptakan pelabuhan alami sepanjang 3 kilometer.
    Awalnya tempat ini dibangun oleh orang Prancis pada 1630-an yang merupakan pemukiman nelayan yang diberi nama Petit Plaisance, yang berarti "Tempat Kecil yang Menyenangkan". Nama itu dipertahankan dalam bahasa Inggris (Little Placentia) ketika orang Prancis kehilangan kendali atas wilayah tersebut setelah Perjanjian Utrecht pada tahun 1713. Sensus tahun 1706 mencatat 149 orang di 14 habitat.
