The town included houses, tradesman shops, a church, school, barns, and gardens. Now more than 250 years later, historic Bethania is the only example of a European style “open field†agricultural village remaining in North Carolina.

The Historic Bethania Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 10-4pm. The Trail and Town Walk maps are available on-line at http://www.historicbethania.org/ and all outside activities are open to the public to enjoy. The staff at the Visitor Center and Town Office will be answering email and checking phone messages as time permits.
