    Black Lives Matter (BLM; dari bahasa Inggris yang secara harfiah berarti: "Nyawa Orang Kulit Hitam Berharga") adalah sebuah gerakan aktivis mancanegara yang desentralisasi untuk melawan rasisme, diskriminasi dan kesenjangan terhadap orang kulit hitam. Gerakan BLM dimulai dari komunitas Afrika-Amerika yang aktif dalam menentang kekerasan maupun rasisme sistemik terhadap orang kulit hitam di Amerika Serikat. BLM rutin menyelenggarakan demonstrasi memprotes kematian orang kulit hitam di tangan polisi, dan isu-isu terkait seperti profiling berdasarkan ras, kebrutalan polisi, dan bias rasial dalam sistem peradilan pidana di Amerika Serikat.
    Gerakan aktivis ini bermula sejak tahun 2013, dengan penggunaan tagar #BlackLivesMatter di media sosial setelah George Zimmerman, pelaku penembakan Travyon Martin, seorang pemuda berkulit hitam pada Februari 2012. Black Lives Matter menjadi gerakan yang dikenal secara nasional setelah demonstrasi yang mereka lakukan selepas dua kematian warga kulit hitam Amerika Serikat lainnya: Michael Brown (menyebabkan demonstrasi dan kerusuhan di kota Ferguson) serta Erik Garner di Kota New York.
    Sejak protes di kota Ferguson, anggota gerakan ini telah melakukan demonstrasi memprotes kematian sejumlah warga kulit hitam oleh polisi maupun ketika ditahan polisi. Pada pertengahan tahun 2015, aktivis-aktivis BLM juga terlibat dalam Pemilihan umum Presiden Amerika Serikat 2016. Pemrakarsa tagar dan penggerak BLM, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, dan Opal Tometi, mengembangkan gerakan ini menjadi sebuah jaringan nasional dengan lebih dari 30 cabang antara 2014 hingga 2016. Namun, gerakan BLM secara keseluruhan adalah jaringan yang tersebar tanpa struktur resmi.
