Jul 14, 2019 · I've tried to reset the CMOS. I shorted the two pins for 10 seconds, and started the PC while holding in the Del key as in the manual. Still just booted me into Windows. Second time i took out the Battery, shorted the pins and put the battery back in and started while holding in Del key. Still just boots into Windows.

When I turn the computer on it boots immediately into Windows with the CPU fan at full speed(cpu temps are fine), however I cannot get into the Bios to adjust settings. Additionally before it goes to Windows, it is just a Black screen. There is no MSI Splash screen for the Bios.

May 10, 2020 · TL;DR: Got home to find my computer physically boots but no peripherals detect a signal (monitor says no signal, mouse/kbd dont light up), as screen is black I can't even get to BIOS to troubleshoot software. Tried replacing CMOS motherboard battery and trying peripherals on different PC, where they worked fine.

Aug 30, 2020 · Now restart and enter the BIOS again. This time, reverse the change you made earlier and reinstate the HDD as a boot device. Save changes and reboot. What you have done is to toggle the boot setting. This sometimes helps if a setting isn't behaving as it should. Test to see if it now boots up without the need to enter the BIOS each time.
