    Caudillo (pengucapan bahasa Spanyol: [kawˈdiʎo]; Spanyol Lama: cabdillo, dari Latin capitellum, diminutif dari caput yang artinya "kepala") adalah kelompok pemilik lahan-militer yang memiliki kekuatan politik dan menggunakannya secara otoriter. Istilah tersebut dapat diterjemahkan menjadi pemimpin atau ketua, tetapi lebih tepatnya sebagai panglima perang, diktator atau orang kuat dan merujuk kepada pemimpin populis karismatik. Caudillos sangat berpengaruh dalam sejarah Amerika Hispanik dan mempengaruhi gerakan politik pada saat ini.
    Istilah ini awalnya mengacu para pemimpin yang memiliki kekuatan militer, seperti Indibilis dan Mandonius, Viriathus, Almanzor (terkadang dalam historiografi modern), Don Pelayo dan para pejuang lainnya pada masa Reconquista, dan tokoh lainnya seperti Simón Bolivar, Francisco Franco dan Juan Perón.
