Championship Auto Racing Teams biasa disingkat CART adalah badan penyelenggara untuk kejuaraan balap mobil roda terbuka Amerika yang beroperasi dari 1979 hingga 2003. Badan ini menjalankan ajang PPG Indy Car World Series dari 1979 hingga bubar setelah musim 2003.
CART didirikan pada tahun 1979 oleh pemilik tim dari kejuaraan divisi United States Auto Club (USAC) yang tidak setuju dengan arahan dan kepemimpinan USAC, dengan gagasan baru tentang pemilik mobil yang menyetujui dan mempromosikan seri mereka sendiri secara kolektif daripada mengandalkan kenetralan untuk melakukannya. Selama tahun 1980-an, Indy Car World Series menjadi seri balap mobil roda terbuka terkemuka di Amerika Utara, yang menampilkan sirkuit jalan raya kota, sirkuit lintasan jalanan dan balap trek oval. Pengemudi CART terus berkompetisi di Indianapolis 500 yang disetujui USAC.
