Sir Charles Kuen Kao, GBM, KBE, FRS, FREng (4 November 1933 – 23 September 2018) adalah seorang fisikawan dan insinyur elektro Hong Kong-Amerika-Britania yang menjadi perintis pengembangan dan penggunaan serat optik dalam telekomunikasi.
