Jul 3, 2016 · Ok, I found the problem. Apparently the Cinema4DAE.plugin was old and causing a conflict. Once I removed that the import into AE CS6 works fine with the R17 .aec file (though I still have two “Cinema 4D Exporter” selections in the Export dialogue box).
Nov 17, 2021 · Only 3d layers will be exported. Maybe an AE 22 error. Revert to 18 and should work. When I go file>export>maxon cinema 4d exporter, nothing happens. Please help Working on windows 10, ae 22, and c4d r25 btw.

Sep 13, 2023 · The specific problem is that Quixel Bridge does not actually point at the plugin, so it has no idea it is there. When I download the C4D plugin, a pop-up is supposed to appear in bridge, asking where it should be installed.
Jul 31, 2020 · Check the console for errors next time you try and also go to C4D preferences > Import/Export > Alembic Export and check the settings there.
Dec 16, 2018 · Hi there, I am trying to export an AEC file from C4D because nulls are not appearing when I use Cineware (just camera). I’m finding that this isn’t working either, but it has revealed that C4D may be the cause.
Nov 5, 2024 · I have the latest AE with Cinema 4D 2025 and also 2023, I do my camera tracking I create my solid ready to export to ciema 4D, I click on the export to C4d, and nothing happens.... I've done this tons of time with older after effects with no problem.. what am I missing? Thanks
