Sejarah

Coxiella burnetii - Wikipedia
Coxiella burnetii is an obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen, and is the causative agent of Q fever. [1] The genus Coxiella is morphologically similar to Rickettsia, but with a variety of genetic and physiological differences.
Q Fever: Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Prevention & Treatment
Q fever is an illness you get from dust or animal products containing the bacterium Coxiella burnetii (C. burnetii). Sheep, goats, cattle and other animals can carry C. burnetii. It can get into the soil around them, allowing it to spread to people.

May 22, 2023 · Coxiella burnetii is the causative agent of Q fever, which is a zoonotic disease. Q fever can present as a febrile illness, pneumonia, or hepatitis. If it is not appropriately treated, it can lead to complications such as osteomyelitis, endocarditis, and vascular infections.
Coxiella burnetii: Characteristics, Pathogenesis, Diagnosis
Oct 13, 2024 · Coxiella burnetii is a Gram-negative acidophilic bacterium that occurs intracellularly within the phagolysosome of the eukaryotic host. It is the causative agent of acute and chronic Q fever or Coxiellosis and resembles Ricketssia in terms of morphology but with some genetic and physiological differences.

Coxiellosis in Animals - Merck Veterinary Manual
Coxiellosis is a zoonotic infection with Coxiella burnetii, which most commonly results in abortions in ruminants. Prevalence is high in commercial cattle and dairy populations; the organism is spread through environmental contamination by aborted tissues, urine or feces.
Molecular pathogenesis of the obligate intracellular bacterium Coxiella ...
The agent of Q fever, Coxiella burnetii, is an obligate intracellular bacterium that causes acute and chronic infections. The study of C. burnetii pathogenesis has benefited from two recent fundamental advances: improved genetic tools and the ability to grow the bacterium in extracellular media.
Coxiella burnetii
Coxiella burnetii is the etiologic agent of Q fever. It is a pleomorphic coccobacillus that is Gram-negative, obligately intracellular, and 0.3 to 0.7µm long. C. burnetii is phylogenetically related to Pseudomonas, Francisella, and Legionella, within the Legionella group of the γ- Proteobacteria subdivision. It is more distantly related to
