Dipol atau dipole atau Momen Dipole adalah penggunaan ide momen pada dipol listrik untuk mengukur suatu "polaritas" dari ikatan kimia didalam suatu molekul. Hal Ini terjadi setiap kali ada pemisahan pada "muatan positif" dan "muatan negatif".

Untuk molekul poliatomik, ada lebih dari satu ikatan. Total momen dipol molekul dapat diperkirakan sebagai jumlah vektor dari momen dipol ikatan individu. Seringkali dipol ikatan diperoleh dengan proses sebaliknya: dipol total yang diketahui dari suatu molekul dapat diuraikan menjadi dipol ikatan. Ini dilakukan untuk mentransfer momen dipol ikatan ke molekul yang memiliki ikatan yang sama, tetapi saat momen dipol total belum diketahui.
