    William Omar Landrón Rivera (lahir 10 Februari 1978), dikenal secara profesional sebagai Don Omar, adalah seorang rapper, penyanyi, penulis lagu, produser rekaman dan aktor asal Puerto Rico. Ia juga dikenal sebagai "Raja Reggaeton" oleh kritikus musik dan penggemar. Don Omar diakui oleh Billboard dan Rolling Stone sebagai salah satu legenda reggaeton. Ia sering disebut-sebut sebagai pengaruh oleh artis urban Hispanik lainnya.
    Landrón lahir di Santurce, lingkungan San Juan, Puerto Riko. Ia adalah salah satu artis yang berjasa mempersembahkan reggaeton kepada penonton di seluruh dunia dan telah mengubah genre musik menjadi fenomena global. Ia menjadi bintang dengan merilis album studio pertamanya, The Last Don, yang dirilis pada tahun 2003. Album tersebut terjual 411.000 unit di Amerika Serikat dan disertifikasi emas oleh Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Don Omar telah menjual sekitar 15 juta rekaman, menjadikannya salah satu artis musik Latin terlaris.     Awal kehidupan


    Don Omar lahir di Santurce, lingkungan San Juan, Puerto Riko, tempat ia dibesarkan, putra tertua William Landrón dan Luz Antonia Rivera. Sejak usia dini, dia menunjukkan minat pada musik Vico C dan Brewley MC. Selama masa mudanya, ia menjadi anggota aktif di gereja Protestan, Iglesia Evangélica Restauración en Cristo di Bayamón di mana ia sesekali memberikan khotbah. Namun, setelah empat tahun, dia meninggalkan gereja untuk mengabdikan dirinya pada nyanyian.


    Kehidupan pribadi


    Pada tahun 2003, Omar memiliki putra pertamanya, Nicolás Valle Gómez. Omar menikah dengan peramal/jurnalis Jackie Guerrido pada 19 April 2008. Pada Maret 2011, terungkap bahwa mereka telah bercerai.
    Pada 17 Juni 2024, Omar memposting di Instagram-nya gambar lengannya yang mengenakan gelang Orlando Health, dengan keterangan bahwa ia menderita kanker. Ia mengakhiri caption dengan kata-kata "Sampai jumpa lagi", lalu tagar "#fuckcancer".
