May 13, 2021 · Donkey Kong Country game in general are harder than 2D Marios yes Donkey Kong including Tropical Freeze is much easier than 2D Marios for me. You don't die from 1 or max 2 hits in Donkey Kong and DK is nowhere as slippery as Mario. I easily beat Donkey Kong majority of games without save states but Mario without save states is a chore for me.
