Eben Ezer Purba (lahir di Medan, Indonesia, 14 Maret 1999) lebih dikenal sebagai Eben Ezer, adalah seorang animator, dan YouTuber berkebangsaan Indonesia.
Awal Karier
Eben Ezer Purba merupakan generasi Z yang lahir pada tahun 1999 asal Medan. Sejak kecil ia sudah tertarik dengan dunia komputer dan animasi. Saat usia 10 tahun, dia sudah belajar membuat animasi pivot sederhana dan suka bermain Game. Eben sejak kecil sangat suka melihat video animasi di televisi dan belajar membuatnya sendiri, oleh karena itu dia juga termasuk anak yang berprestasi disekolah.
Saat beranjak ke remaja, Eben mulai menaruh perhatian pada dunia animasi. Pribadi Eben yang suka bergaul, sering menghabiskan waktu bersama teman di Laboratorium komputer milik sekolahnya untuk membuat sebuah video animasi dan menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya dengan bermain game. Mulai saat itu Eben juga mulai mengenal situs YouTube. Pada tahun 2015 Eben memutuskan untuk memulai membuat akun YouTube dan berkeinginan menjadi seorang YouTuber yang terkenal.
Awalnya, keinginan Eben untuk menekuni profesi sebagai YouTuber ini pun diragukan oleh teman-teman dan keluarga Eben, pada saat itu keraguan keluarganya disebabkan karena tidak mampu memfasilitasi alat komputer dalam pembuatan animasi di YouTube.
Namun, ibunya mencoba untuk menaruh kepercayaan kepada Eben dengan membelikannya sebuah komputer. Berawal dari titik itulah, tepatnya pada tanggal 30 Mei 2015, Eben memulai petualangannya membuat kanal YouTube sebagai Eben Ezer, seorang YouTuber pembuat animasi. Eben memulai kanal YouTube dengan mengunggah video animasi Minecraft, Eben juga termasuk yang menjadi pengisi suara dalam animasi itu.
Saat diunggah pertama kali di YouTube video animasi Eben langsung memiliki banyak penonton pada unggahan pertamanya, dan menduduki trending topik YouTube Indonesia. Sejak saat itu Eben mulai tekun membuat video animasi, seperti halnya mengunggah video animasi lucu dan juga membuat animasi tentang peduli terhadap lingkungan, Eben juga suka menyuarakan tentang bahaya membuang sampah plastik di video animasinya. Seiring dengan perkembangan konten dan peningkatan kemampuan animasinya, Eben sudah 10 kali menduduki trending topik di YouTube dan pernah mendapatkan peringkat Ke 1 di tab trending YouTube Indonesia. Penonton tertinggi yang dimilikinya mencapai 25 Juta penonton.
Keseriusannya dalam menggarap konten-konten berkualitas, membuat dirinya mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi, yaitu Silver Play Button dari YouTube.
