    Frederick Edwin Smith, 1st Earl of Birkenhead 12 Juli 1872 – 30 September 1930), yang dikenal sebagai F. E. Smith, adalah seorang barrister dan politikus Konservatif Inggris yang meraih jabatan tinggi pada awal abad ke-20, terutama sebagai Lord Chancellor. Ia merupakan orator terampil, yang dikenal karena penentangan kerasnya terhadap nasionalisme Irlandia.
