Gabiniani adalah 2000 legiuner dan 500 auksilia kavaleri yang ditinggalkan di Kerajaan Ptolemaik oleh jenderal Aulus Gabinius setelah restorasi militernya terhadap Firaun Ptolemy XII Auletes pada tahta Mesir pada 55 SM. Para prajurit tersebut ditinggalkan untuk melindungi raja, namun kemudian mereka mengadopsi tingkal laku dari negara baru mereka dan menjadi sangat teralienasi dari Republik Romawi.
