Harbor Defense Museum atau yang lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat Indonesia dengan nama Museum Pertahanan Pelabuhan atau yang terkadang dikenal dengan nama The Caponier, terletak dalam bagian lahan Benteng Hamilton yang terletak di Teluk Ridge Brooklyn, merupakan benteng yang dibuat pada abad ke-19 Masehi. Benteng ini merupakan museum militer satu-satunya yang terdapat diNew York City, dan merupakan satu dari tujuh puluh museum militer di Amerika Serikat yang didanai dan dioperasikan oleh Dinas Pertahanan Angakatan Bersenjata.
The Caponier, merupakan nama yang diberikan kepada bangunan tersebut, merupakan bagian dari bagian sayap pertahanan yang bertugas melindungi benteng utama dari serangan. Bangunan ini merupakan benteng kecil yang terletak di dalam benteng besar.
Fort Hamilton merupakan garnisun kedua tertua di Amerika Serikat, setelah West Point. Museum ini menyimpan artefak sejarah militer termasuk diantaranya dari [perang revolusi Amerika]], seragam dari berbagai perang, peta kuno, dan terowongan rahasia yang menghubungna Fort Hamilton dengan markas lain yang berjarak setengah mil. Museum ini juga merupakan rumah sementara untuk kapsul waktu yag digali secara prematur ketika konstruksi.
