Junagadh (bahasa Gujarat: જુનાગઢ) adalah markas besar distrik Junagadh di negara bagian Gujarat, India. Kota tersebut merupakan kota terbesar ke-7 di Gujarat, yang terletak di kaki perbukitan Girnar dan berjarak 355 km dari barat daya ibu kota negara bagian Gandhinagar dan Ahmedabad. Jika secara literal diterjemahkan, Junagadh artinya "Benteng Lama". Etimologi alternatif menyatakan bahwa nama tersebut datang dari kata "Yonagadh", yang artinya "Kota Yona (bangsa Yunani)," merujuk kepada para penduduk kuno kota tersebut yang berada di bawah kerajaan India-Yunani. Kota tersebut juga dikenal sebagai "Sorath", nama awal dari Negara Kepangeranan Junagadh. Setelah perjuangan besar antara India dan Pakistan, Junagadh bergabung dengan India pada 9 November 1947. Kota tersebut menjadi bagian dari negara bagian Saurashtra dan kemudian negara bagian Bombay. Pada 1960, setelah gerakan Maha Gujarat, kota tersebut menjadi bagian dari negara bagian Gujarat yang baru dibentuk.
