    Kleng (dulu Kelang) merupakan sebuah Kotaraja atau ibu kota Kerajaan bagi Negeri Selangor, Malaysia. Sedangkan untuk ibu kota pemerintahan Selangor ada di kota Shah Alam. Pada masa dahulu Kota Klang pernah menjadi ibu kota Selangor sebelum adanya Kuala Lumpur dan Shah Alam. Ia terletak kira-kira 32 km di barat Kuala Lumpur.
    Secara administratif Klang merupakan salah satu mukim/sub distrik yang ada di Daerah/Distrik Klang.


    Sejarah


    1867 - 1874 Perang Kelang
    1880 - 1889 ibu kota Selangor sebelum Kuala Lumpur
    1974 - 1977 ibu kota Selangor sebelum Shah Alam
    1977 - Dewan Kota Klang didirikan.


    Tempat menarik


    Tempat-tempat menarik di kota ini ialah Masjid Sultan Sulaiman, Jembatan Kota, Istana Klang dan Monumen Keris.

    Dalam Pemilu, Klang merupakan Daerah Pemilihan P110 yang mendapat alokasi tiga kursi untuk parlemen federal, dan ketiga kursi tersebut diduduki oleh anggota parlemen dari partai koalisi Barisan Nasional:

    Pada tahun 2005, bangunan kedai telah siap dibangun di Jalan Raya Barat. Ia memang amat terkenal karena banyak orang yang datang ke sana. Lantaran itu, Klang menjadi amat terkenal. Selain itu, kedai-kedai baru akan didirikan di kawasan dekat Jalan Raya Barat menjadikan tempat itu bernama Little India 2. Ia akan siap tak lama lagi.
