Matsushima (松島code: ja is deprecated ) adalah sebutan untuk sekitar 260 buah pulau besar dan kecil yang berada di Teluk Matsushima, Prefektur Miyagi, Jepang. Pulau-pulau (shima) di Teluk Matsushima ditumbuhi pohon tusam (matsu) sehingga disebut Matsushima. Istilah Matsushima juga dipakai untuk menyebut pemandangan di kawasan Teluk Matsushima beserta perbukitan di sekelilingnya.
Matsushima termasuk salah satu dari Tiga Pemandangan Terindah di Jepang bersama-sama dengan Amanohashidate di Prefektur Kyoto dan Itsukushima di Prefektur Hiroshima.
Akibat peristiwa gempa bumi Sendai 2011, dikabarkan kawasan ini mengalami sapuan gelombang tsunami setinggi 10 meter.
Empat pemandangan Matsushima
Wisatawan datang ke Matsushima untuk melihat pemandangan pulau-pulau dari tepi pantai atau dengan menaiki perahu-perahu pesiar. Selain itu, pemandangan Matsushima dapat dilihat empat lokasi terkenal yang berada di atas bukit di sekitar Teluk Matsushima. Keempat pemandangan yang dilihat dari keempat tempat tersebut masing-masing diberi nama sebagai Sōkan (壮観code: ja is deprecated , Pemandangan Hebat), Reikan (麗観code: ja is deprecated , Pemandangan Indah), Yūkan (幽観code: ja is deprecated , Pemandangan Misteri), dan Ikan (偉観code: ja is deprecated , Pemandangan Agung).
