26 Nov 2021 · "Neither my mother nor I were conscious of rudeness" I thought it was the latter, but the grammar checker I use isn't picking up the first sentence as a mistake. Am I right in saying "were" is third-person past tense for "to be?" And I would think "my mother and I" is third person, as it's a 'body' of something. Hence, it should be "were".
TLDR: my mom sucks and is a textbook narc who'll poison anyone against her kids. Ahemmmm, 45 year old M who also despises and loathes the fact my mother still draws breathe. To put it this way let her illnesses COPD and alzheimers rot her brain and lungs in to oblivion.

11 Mar 2020 · The only person in my daily life that knows there are changes is my mother, whom was introduced to my transition the day I got my prescriptions, and have been seeing a lot more often since. On the whole, she's been super supportive; she's never tried to talk me out of it, guilt me, or express any discomfort with anything related to the process.

My father passed away when I was a kid so I don’t know much about him and my mother hasn’t dated anyone since. So of course I spend a lot of my holidays with her. But when I visited her during spring break she was acting really off but I didn’t think much of it because she got pretty sad after my fathers death and she is still in mourning.

I noticed my MIL in the kitchen while I was in my chair watching tv and completely forgot about it.
