  • Nergal, Nirgal, atau Nirgali (Sumeria: dGÌR-UNUG-GAL 𒀭𒄊𒀕𒃲; bahasa Ibrani: נֵרְגַל, Modern Nergal Tiberias Nērḡál; Aram ܢܹܪܓܵܐܠ; bahasa Latin: Nergel) adalah seorang dewa yang disembah di sepanjang Mesopotamia kuno (Akkad, Asiria, dan Babilonia) dengan kedudukan utama dari penyembahannya di Cuthah yang diwakili oleh gundukan Tell-Ibrahim. Nama lainnya adalah Erra dan Irra.
    Nergal disebutkan dalam Alkitab Ibrani sebagai dewa kota Kuta: " orang-orang Babel membuat patung Sukot-Benot, orang-orang Kuta membuat patung Nergal, orang-orang Hamat membuat patung Asima" (2 Raja–Raja 17:30).
