    Oculudentavis adalah genus kadal yang sudah punah dari penempatan taksonomi yang tidak pasti, awalnya diidentifikasi sebagai dinosaurus avialan (burung, dalam arti luas). Oculudentavis mengandung satu spesies yang diketahui, Oculudentavis khaungraae. Satu-satunya fosil Oculudentavis yang diketahui terdiri dari tengkorak lengkap yang terawetkan dalam ambar Burma. Tengkorak itu memiliki panjang 1,4 cm (0,55 in), menunjukkan bahwa Oculudentavis akan memiliki ukuran yang sebanding dengan burung kolibri lebah modern jika itu adalah burung. Spesimen ambar diambil dari deposit Hukawng yang berusia 99 juta tahun di Negara Bagian Kachin, Myanmar utara. Spesimen itu terlibat dalam kontroversi mengenai identitasnya dan masalah etika seputar akuisisi dan studi ambar Myanmar.


    Penemuan dan penamaan


    Oculudentavis dikenal dari tengkorak lengkap yang disimpan dalam ambar Burma, ditemukan di situs Angbamo di Kotapraja Tanai, Negara Bagian Kachin, Myanmar utara. Nama genus Oculudentavis dipilih untuk memasukkan kombinasi kata oculus, dentes, dan avis. Kata-kata dalam bahasa Latin masing-masing diterjemahkan menjadi "mata", "gigi", dan "burung". Nama spesifiknya menghormati Khaung Ra, wanita yang menyumbangkan sepotong ambar ke Museum Hupoge Amber untuk dipelajari. Saat ini, holotipe dikatalogkan sebagai HPG-15-3 di Museum Hupoge Amber.
