Perang Liga Cognac (1526–30) adalah perang yang berlangsung antara negara-negara di bawah kekuasaan Kaisar Karl V dari Wangsa Habsburg (terutama Kekaisaran Romawi Suci dan Spanyol Habsburg) melawan Liga Cognac yang merupakan persekutuan antara Prancis, Paus Klemens VII, Republik Venesia, Kerajaan Inggris, Kadipaten Milan dan Republik Firenze. Perang ini dimenangkan oleh Wangsa Habsburg walaupun tidak terdapat perubahan wilayah setelah perang berakhir.
Latar belakang
Terguncang akan kekalahan Prancis dalam Perang Italia 1521, Paus Klemens VII dan Republik Venesia merintis persekutuan untuk mengusir Karl V dari Italia. François yang sebelumnya telah menandantangani Traktat Madrid dilepaskan dari tahanan di Madrid dan kembali ke Prancis. Ia kemudian langsung mengumumkan bahwa ia akan membantu Klemens. Maka dari itu, pada tahun 1526, Liga Cognac didirikan oleh François, Klemens, Venesia, Firenze, dan Sforza dari Milan dengan tujuan untuk mengakhiri dominasi kekaisaran.
