Rugops (berarti "wajah berkerut") adalah sebuah genus dinosaurus theropoda abelisauridae basal monospesifik dari Niger yang hidup pada periode Kapur Akhir (subkala Senomanium, ~95 jtl), di lokasi yang sekarang menjadi Formasi Echkar. Spesies tipe, sekaligus menjadi satu-satunya spesies dari genus ini iadalah Rugops primus, yang hanya diketahui dari satu tengkorak tak sempurna. Genus ini dinamai dan dideskripsikan pada 2004 oleh Paul Sereno, Jeffery Wilson dan Jack Conrad. Rugops diperkirakan memiliki panjang 4,4–5,3 meter (14–17 ft) dan berat 410 kilogram (900 pon). Di atas tengkoraknya terdapat beberapa lubang yang sesuai dengan sisik yang menutupinya, dan bagian depan moncongnya memiliki dermis mirip zirah.
