Salamiyah (bahasa Arab: سلمية Salamīya) adalah sebuah distrik di Suriah Barat, di Kegubernuran Hama, 45 kilometer (28 mil) timur laut Homs. Kota ini memiliki nama lain "ibu Kairo" karena tempat ini mrnjadi tempat kelahiran Khalifah Fatimiyah kedua Muhammad al-Qaim Bi-Amrillah, yang dinastinya saat itu berdiri di Kairo, dan penguasaan awal ayahnya Abdullah al-Mahdi Billah telah mendirikan Kekhalifahan Fatimiyah. Kota ini adalah pusat yang penting untuk Syi'ah Nizari Ismailiyah dan Taiyabi Ismaili Muslim juga menjadi tempat kelahiran penyair Muhammad al-Maghut. Populasi kota itu mencapai 66,724 (2004 sensus).
