The Kite Runner adalah sebuah novel karya penulis berkebangsaan Afghanistan-Amerika Serikat, Khaled Hosseini. Novel ini diterbitkan pada tahun 2003 dan merupakan novel pertama Hosseini. Novel ini telah diadaptasi ke layar lebar dengan judul yang sama pada tahun 2007.
The Kite Runner bercerita tentang Amir, seorang anak laki-laki dari distrik Wazir Akbar Khan di Kabul, dan sahabatnya Hassan, putra seorang pelayan hazara di rumahnya. Cerita berkisar seputar kekisruhan situasi pemerintahan di Afghanistan pasca jatuhnya monarki Afghanistan dalam invasi Soviet, eksodus pengungsi ke Pakistan dan Amerika Serikat, serta munculnya rezim Taliban.
Di Indonesia, novel ini diterjemahkan oleh Berliani M. Nugrahani dan diterbitkan pertama kali pada bulan Februari 2008 oleh penerbit Mizan.
