Plot
Film ini mengikuti kisah seorang pembuat kue asal Chicago bernama Stacy De Novo (diperankan oleh Vanessa Hudgens) yang secara tidak sengaja bertemu dengan Margaret Delacourt, Duchess of Montenaro, yang juga diperankan oleh Hudgens. Keduanya memiliki penampilan yang sangat mirip, sehingga mereka memutuskan untuk bertukar tempat selama musim Natal. Margaret ingin merasakan kehidupan sebagai orang biasa sebelum menikah dengan Pangeran Edward (Sam Palladio), sementara Stacy berkesempatan untuk merasakan kehidupan kerajaan.
