Oct 29, 2021 · The Man With The Golden Gun itself though is just.... Pointless. Litterally. The story, of what there is, is just paper thin and non-satisfactory. Don't get me wrong, it's a Bond movie, as such I'm happy to sit through it, but though there's so much potential present, it doesn't gel as a movie at all, let alone a Bond movie.

He tries to seduce her to get the bullet, but is attacked by a group of men (the film never explains who they are). In the original script, this scene was very different.

And that is my biggest gripe with Golden Gun: It seems like it’s written by someone with a fetish for misogyny and abuse and he’s running wild and uncontrolled with his script.
